SILVERBELL ROAD

TASK FORCE (SRTF)

The Phase I Design Concept Study began with the establishment of the Silverbell Road Task Force to provide support on transportation planning, land use, and overall character of the roadway.  SRTF members act as liaisons between the Design Concept Team and the general public while gathering information from property owners, businesses and neighborhood and homeowner associations within the project boundaries.

The SRTF's objective is to be a diverse representation of   property owners, homeowners, business owners, and neighborhood associations in the project area as well as alternate modes.  The Design Concept Study is anticipated to take 18 to 24 months, during which time the SRTF will meet monthly.  In addition to the monthly meetings, SRTF members will also participate in community open houses and         planning workshops at major planning milestones.

If you have any questions about the overall project, please contact the Tucson Department of Transportation Engineering Administrator Andy Dinauer at 791-4251.  If you have any questions about the Task Force, please contact Evelyn Urrea at 885-9009.  We look forward to working with the Citizen Task Force members on this important improvement to Tucson's transportation system.
